Jean has performed with many jazz greats such Al Vizutti and Marvin Stamm. He was the recipient of Best Instrumentalist prize at the International Jazz Festival in Vienne, France 1995. Jean has also toured with international pop stars Gino Vanelli,  Frank Sinatra Jr. and Quebecois artists Robert Charlebois, Claude Dubois, and Adamo.
